We designed the welcOMe Mat for beginners. Features like the alignment stripe and soft cushioning are attractive to those who are newer to yoga. However, all are welcome to practice on it!

Is the welcOMe Mat available in different sizes and thicknesses?

The welcOMe Mat is currently available in only one size – 68” x 24” x 5mm - and it weighs 2.3 lbs. 

What is the welcOMe Mat made of?

The welcOMe Mat is made of Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) and is 6P free. While other TPEs gets a bad rap, we only use the highest grade, which means it doesn’t contain any harmful solvents.

Is the welcOMe mat covered by the Lifetime Guarantee?

Although the Lifetime Guarantee covers PRO Series mats, the welcOMe Mat is not covered under the Lifetime Guarantee.

How is the welcOMe Mat environmentally conscious?

The welcOMe Mat is made free of solvents and toxic glues, and with energy efficient manufacturing.

Is there latex in the welcOMe Mat?

No, the welcOMe Mat is 100% latex-free!

What is the purpose of the alignment stripe on the welcOMe Mat?

The alignment stripe helps yogis keep their poses correctly aligned by clearly outlining the center of the mat.

Which side of the welcOMe Mat do I use?

Although the welcOMe Mat is reversible, the “top” of the welcOMe Mat has a defined alignment stripe and imprinted logo.

How do I care for my welcOMe Mat?

Keep your mat in its best condition by wiping it down after every practice with our Manduka All Purpose Mat Wash. Never soak, shower or submerge your mat in water. Store in a cool, dry place.
